Trailer Park Boys

Trailer Park boys is a low budget Canadian mockumentary tv series and a movie. It’s about the lives of Sunnyvale Trailer Park residents. Ellen Page played Mr. Lahey’s daughter long before she became a household name. Trailer Park Boys is the brain child of Mike Clattenburg. The show premiered April 2001 and is downright hilarious. Sadly, it is not yet available on US television.  Well, they did just release the movie in here in the US, I say skip it and dive into to the episodes.

Just Britney Art Show

I can’t believe the “Just Britney” art show is for real! It is and it celebrates our pop princess’s highs and lows. Steven Corfe from Pickering England is the co-curator. It features Britney Spears-inspired work from over 30 artists. My favorite portrait of Britney is by artist Jason Kronenwald. He used chewed bubble gum to create it! Genius.  The show opens Sept. 28th at the World of Wonder Storefront Gallery and runs for 2 weeks. I bet if we go we can met Chris Crocker! That would be a treat. Chris has a piece in the show called Britney Pool. And just for the hell of it I threw in a pic of Daniel Edwards sculpture of Britney giving birth. Yeah, remember that! Amy at Rock in Rio

All the things I would sell to have been at this concert in Spain! Amy sipped red wine, did not stay for an encore and was whisked away by helicopter.

Jamiroquai followed Amy on stage then Shakira.

The Police, Bob Dylan, Lenny Kravitz, Alejandro Sanz and Franz Ferdinand are also scheduled to perform over the weekend.

 350,000 people were expected to have been at the newly inaugurated concert site by the close of the festival.
