The only reason they went for Amanda M. Knox was that she was soft hearted and could be presured easy. If they would have had someone that was a little more tought mined they would not have done what they did to Amanda M. Knox.

I do hope Amanda can get on with her life and have a somewhat normal life. And not have any of the nightmare that she has gone throught these past 4 years.

I wish you the best of luck and i am really glad that you are home with your family were you can get there support and there strength to help you through everything.

    GOD BLESS YOU

I believe Amanda Knox is innocent. I follow many trials and murders and in this case I believe 100% Amanda Knox is innocent. I believe in her. I feel bad she is in prison for something the poor girl never did. What a way to grow up and experience a truth of how this world can be so cruel. I myself feel the more you put yourself out there the more risks you are taking. I don’t like to go out to much. It is a very scarey world. People have no problem blaming you for something someone else did. Set Amanda free! That’s all I ask. I don’t know Amanda myself but I see her as once a very carefree innocent girl who put herself right in the middle of a bad situation by accident and look what happened. No girl would have anything to do with her boyfriend killing another girl and let him rape her..or even be apart of something like that. Give me a break! That is clearly something a man alone did. It is not the kind of crime a girl would do. It makes no sense at all. On top of it..no proof.

From an attorney in the US, I believe you are innocent. Additionally, I feel a kinship because I studied a summer in Perugia at the same University. I am hoping very much that you come home next week. I am sorry you have undergone this frenzy, but you will be a stronger and better lady for it. Hang in there.

Just a comment. I think Amanda is not guilty, got a bum rap and should be released. But every time I see a picture of her she is either smirking or has this dumb smile on her face. I say to myself what is wrong with that girl doesn’t she know that tne people who have the power to release her or sentence her to life in prison are looking at those pictures as well. If you can tell her to stop it. She should always be looking serious and somber, not smirking or with a slight smile. It is not working for her and it’s working against her.

Holding Knox in prison is a disgrace to Meredith. Show some respect and show some justice. Ruining two more lives will not bring Mez back. Mez would want then free.

I believe that Amanda Knox is being wrongfully accused of murder. I feel sad for meredith’s family because you should not loose a child that way. But i do bielve that Amanda Knox is innocent. yes the was a women’s foot print in multipule place’s in the cottage and, yes they were the same size as Amanda’s but im sure that amanda is’nt the only women in the world that were’a that size shoe. And them persuaing charges on Amanda Knox’s parents is outrageous, All there doing is helping there daughter. Now what happens if the italin police did smack her around? because on the lifetime movie there were treating her like a dirty american. Just because Amanda knox was smoking pot does not make her a murder like there trying to make it seem. Cops act like they have never done it that they were perfect through there teen and early twenty years. i believe that the evidents was taken in a hurry. and they did not do there best at collectings it. AMANDA KNOX SHOULD BE FREED……!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Dear Amanda

I am so sorry to have believed, for so many years that you were guilty of the murder of Meredith!!! I have read the book “Amanda Knox” but, after reading the “FORWARDS” and keeping up to date with the trials and multiple appeals i am beginning to think (and am CONVINCED) that, at this moment in time, you are innocent of this horrible crime.
I cannot begin to imagine what hell on earth you must have endured during these four years of punishment which you did not deserve!
Forgive me for doubting your credibility.

      With my love and understanding

An English woman who believes you with all her heart. X X X I wish you and your family every chance of relief in the future! May Our Blessed Lord and his Holy Mother come to your aid.

You’d be surprised how much the Knox family has finally contributed and continues to contribute. Truthfully, it probably is more than she can pay but it is NOT more than her parents can pay; not only are they probably willing to sleep in dumpsters for 60 years if it meant her release, I could imagine them selling organs to help fund her appeal. Her appeal, for as much as an appeal can look promising, seems to be going in her favor.

The Italian justice system is totally despicable. From watching the lifetime movie and following this case it just seems something is not right. My heart goes out to the family of Meredith because no one should lose their child in such a way,but I believe that Amanda is being accused of a crime that she may not in my eyes have committed…never give up knoxs’.

In addition to all the media and news coverage over the past few years, I just watched the Lifetime movie premier of the Amanda Knox story. It is apparent that due to conflictions in all the suspect’s stories, the world may never know the real truth as to what happened the night of the murder. I feel sad for Meredith’s family as they have lost a member of their family, who was bright, beautiful and had a long future ahead of her. In any event, I declare my support for Amanda Knox and feel she was wrongly accussed. And I think pursuing charges against the family of Amanda Knox is outrageous!

I am a little late to join this race, but the more I read of this case the more i truly believe in the United States Justice system. Sure there are probably thousands of innocent people sitting in jail this very moment because of their inability to defend themselves. But regardless if she did it or not, there is at most only 4 people that know the answer to that question, depending on what truth you believe. My question is where is the evidence? Harry Rag says that Amanda’s blood was found mixed with Merideth’s all over the place, but what i read did not say blood it said DNA evidence. He also says that amanda’s foot prints were found in blood, and what I read said the print was approximately amanda’s size and can it be confirmed that it was indeed made with blood? There is a reason that circumstantial evidence holds only so much weight in trial, because if you already have a preconceived notion, just like a horoscope you can find a way to fit it to whatever scenario fits your beliefe. The fact is, if the evidence was there, there wouldn’t be this much speculation on the matter. The bigger question is “Where is the alabi”. All three accused gave several differnt versions, but what makes one more believable than the next. And just as important, where is the motive. After reading what was said to be an “unbias” account of the matter written by a Euopean journalist, I too by those standards must be a sex crazed, drug addicted westerner that is capable of murder.

Everyone should remember to gather as much credible information as possible, rather than just believing the news reports. The well-researched book covering this entire case, from the time Amanda and Meredith arrived in Perugia until Amanda and Rafaele’s sentencing, from as many points of view as possible: Murder in Italy by Candace Dempsey, is a very interesting and revealing read. For great justice, trouble yourselves to read it.

Something went wrong… Im a very sexual person, and i have a past that involved drugs, so i am in no way judgemental. yet, i have watched all of the tapes, crime scene, confessions, etc… and i believe with my whole heart that amanda knox is guilty. I dont know why or what happened. she had a bright future. Sorry to whoever gets mad over my opinion.

The evidence against Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito is overwhelming.

Amanda Knox’s DNA was found on:

    1. On the double DNA knife and a number of independent forensic experts – Dr. Patrizia Stefanoni, Dr. Renato Biondo and Professor Francesca Torricelli – categorically stated that Meredith’s DNA was on the blade.

    2. Mixed with Meredith’s blood on the ledge of the basin.

    3. Mixed with Meredith’s blood on the bidet.

    4. Mixed with Meredith blood on a box of Q Tip cotton swabs.

    5. Mixed with Meredith’s blood in the hallway.

    6. Mixed with Meredith’s blood on the floor of Filomena’s room, where the break-in was staged.

    7. On Meredith’s bra according to Dr. Stefanoni AND Raffaele Sollecito’s forensic expert, Professor Vinci.

Amanda Knox’s footprints were found set in Meredith’s blood in two places in the hallway of the new wing of the cottage. One print was exiting her own room, and one print was outside Meredith’s room, facing into the room. These bloody footprints were only revealed under luminol.

A woman’s bloody shoeprint, which matched Amanda Knox’s foot size, was found on a pillow under Meredith’s body. The bloody shoeprint was incompatible with Meredith’s shoe size.

Two independent imprint experts categorically excluded the possibility that the bloody footprint on the blue bathmat could belong to Rudy Guede. Lorenzo Rinaldi stated:

“You can see clearly that this bloody footprint on the rug does not belong to Mr. Guede, but you can see that it is compatible with Sollecito.”

The other imprint expert print expert testified that the bloody footprint on the blue bathmat matched the precise characteristics of Sollecito’s foot.

An abundant amount of Raffaele Sollecito’s DNA was found on Meredith’s bra clasp. Sollecito must have applied considerable pressure to the clasp in order to have left so much DNA. The hooks on the clasp were damaged which confirms that Sollecito had gripped them tightly.

According to Judge Massei and Judge Cristiani, Rudy Guede’s visible bloody footprints lead straight out of Meredith’s room and out of the house. He didn’t lock Meredith’s door, remove his trainers, go into Filomena’s room or the bathroom that Meredith and Knox shared.

He didn’t scale the vertical wall outside Filomena’s room or gain access through the window. The break-in was clearly staged. This indicates that somebody who lived at the cottage was trying to deflect attention away from themselves and give the impression that a stranger had broken in and killed Meredith.

Guede had no reason to stage the break-in and there was no physical evidence that he went into Filomena’s room or the bathroom. The scientific police found a mixture of Knox’s DNA and Meredith’s blood on the floor in Filomena’s room. They also found irrefutable proof that Knox and Sollecito had tracked Meredith’s blood into the bathroom.

The murder dynamic implicates Knox and Sollecito.

    Barbie Nadeau wrote the following:

“Countless forensic experts, including those who performed the autopsies on Kercher’s body, have testified that more than one person killed her based on the size and location of her injuries and the fact that she didn’t fight back—no hair or skin was found under her fingernails.”

Judge Paolo Micheli claimed that Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito knew precise details about Meredith’s murder that they could have only known if they were present when she was killed.

Amanda Knox voluntarily admitted that she involved in Meredith’s murder in her handwritten note to the police on 6 November 2007. She stated on at least four separate occasions that she was at the cottage when Meredith was killed. She also claimed that Sollecito was at the cottage.

Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito both gave multiple conflicting alibis and lied repeatedly. Their lies were exposed by telephone and computer records, and by CCTV footage. Neither Knox nor Sollecito have credible alibis for the night of the murder despite three attempt each. At the trial, Sollecito refused to corroborate Knox’s alibi that she was at his apartment.

Legal expert Stefano Maffei stated the following:

“There were 19 judges who looked at the evidence over the course of two years, faced with decisions on pre-trial detention, review of such detention, committal to trial, judgment on criminal responsibility. They all agreed, at all times, that the evidence was overwhelming.”

in reply to rebecca and her absurd so-called evidence against amanda knox, is rebecca a genie and has pulled it out of her hat? cause that evidence she claimes doesnt exist. and besides dna from all of the roomates 4 of them was present in the home duh!! sloppy police work and anti- american sentiment is the only reason amanda is in jail and raphael was thrown in for good measure. this is a sad miscarrige of justice in any country shame on all of u, citizens also for allowing your justice system to be so corrupted how would u feel if it was u or your child that is enduring this nightmare. they have the killer of that precious girl, that is justice for meredith, not this horror thats being forced on her roommate. she was a young lady of integrity and character and she would be doing everything she could to help them be exoneratedfrom this lie. our prayers continue for all the families destroyed by this tragedy. we will always remember Meredith and will be comforted knowing she is with her maker, and how many lives she touched in so many ways.

You don’t even know that she’s guilty. from everything ive read about this, i think she’s innocent. i could be wrong, but even if i am that gives you no right to say shit like that about something you dont even know shes in prison for something she probably didnt do and if she did do it then shes already being punished so theres no need for you to say something like that.

Thank you for this information. Guilty or not, the isolation of prison can be depressing and painful, especially if Italian is not your native language. The helpess feeling when the medal door slams shut, sharing a cell with a 51+ year old cellmate and a scant 8 hours of visitation has to be painful. Amanda has an active mind in a non-stimulating environment.

Christ asks us to visit the imprisioned, even if that means just dropping a card.

actually, there was no DNA except for the LCN (Low Copy Number) DNA that was so weak that when they tried to amplify it for further samples the machine handling the DNA actually set off an alert say that their sample had too low few samples for analysis.

Despeite all of what I just described, they continued to analyze and the judge, which happened to be a juror on the case, allowed it into evidence. When the high-profile Knox defense requested their own independent review, the judge appointed another expert to determine if the analysis was properly done. The expert said that it was done properly and this person happened to be the supervisor of the original expert that ignored the machine’s alert saying the sample given was too low and shouldn’t be analyzed.

THIS PUTS ANYONE’S KNIFE THEORY TO REST. ANYONE TO STUBBORN TO DO SO SHOULD ACCEPT THAT AMANDA AND RAFFAELE’S LIVES ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE EGOS OF THOSE IN DISBELIEF!
