Petition to free Ronald Cummings
Kim Picazio attorney for Crystal Sheffield, Haleigh Cummings biological mother sent this email to her associates.
The email dated March 30, 2009, sent out to Picazio’s associates, said , “OK guys – Enough of this bullshit personal crap. I’m heading to a deposition. I want the shit to stop – Haleigh is still missing. We either need to find her, or bring the bad guys to the police to face the capital murder charge they deserve. So PULL UP YOUR PANTS, BRUSH YOURSELF OFF…IT’S GONNA BE A BUMPY RIDE. I wanna see Misty being led out of her trailer by police in cuffs on national news by the end of the week. THAT’S OUR GOAL. Let’s get this cocky crack dealer off the streets (see below)!”
St. johns County Detention Center
- Mail may be addressed to the inmate at 3955 Lewis Speedway, St Augustine, Florida 32084.
- All mail will be processed daily, Monday – Friday (excluding holidays). Inmates must send or receive all mail through the facility mailing system. It should be noted all mail will be searched and scanned prior to delivery to the inmate.
- Inmates can not receive cash in the mail. Personal checks and cash (along with the letter) will be returned to the sender with a note of explanation that the St. Johns County Detention facility will not accept either by mail.
- Unauthorized packages addressed to an inmate, either through U.S. Mail, private delivery service, etc., or brought to the front lobby will not be accepted. These items will be refused and marked “return to sender”. Any approved items not normally issued by the facility may be purchased from the Canteen.
- All items received through the mail that is contraband, unauthorized, (i.e. hard back books, items that can be purchased through canteen such as envelopes and stamps) will be returned to the sender in its entirety. A note of explanation that the inmate cannot receive these items will be included. The inmate shall be notified in writing when incoming or outgoing letters are rejected.
- Any incoming mail containing photographs, drawings or cartoons displaying nudity or sexually graphic content will be returned to the sender. No mail will be retained which is in an unsanitary condition, i.e., contains any type of body fluids, unidentified odors (i.e. perfume, body spray, etc), secretions, residue, hair or any other component of the human body or animal. Any types fitting this description will be destroyed.
Kristina Prevatt aka Nay Nay is a friend of Misty Croslin Cummings.
She wrote this letter from jail and has denied being with Misty the night Haleigh disappeared.

Fox News anchor Geraldo Rivera could see jail time in Putnam County if he crosses the line again!
The property owners where Ronald Cummings lives has filed a trespassing warning against Rivera after an interview that upset Ronald.
Rivera came to Satsuma to interview Haleigh’s family. The ugliness began when Geraldo started to taut Cummings with allegations of drug use and physical abuse of Haleigh.
Ronald Cummings called the allegations “lies” and stopped the interview.
Rivera has been issued a trespass warning, which he did not sign.
Geraldo is not obligated to sign it but if he violates it……..he will be arrested!
A Bank of America account has been established by a San Mateo funeral home to help the family of Haleigh Cummings. They are asking for donations of any size. You can drop off a donation at any Bank of America branch or donate online. The “Haleigh Cummings Fund” is account number 8980 2673 7912.
“Ronald has been out of work, keeping vigil, waiting for Haliegh to come home,” Jamie Watts with Watts Funeral Home said Thursday. “There’s finances being incurred and the community wants to help.”
Watts’ Funeral Home is also selling Haleigh buttons and t-shirts and will donate all of that money to the Haleigh Fund. You can purchase a shirt or button from Watts at 720 Highway 17 South in San Mateo.
