Help find Brittanee Marie Drexel

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Case Number: NCMC1121354

Brittanee Drexel, a junior at Gates Chili High School in Rochester, NY, went missing on spring break in Myrtle Beach. Brittanee was last seen on April 25, 2009. When she was last seen, she had blonde highlights in her hair. Brittanee left for Myrtle Beach on Wednesday, April, 22nd. She has been missing since Saturday, April, 25 2009.

Brittanee and her friends were staying at the Bar Harbor Hotel at 1010 North Ocean Boulevard in downtown Myrtle. She last spoke with her mother, Dawn Drexel, at 2:00 p.m. Saturday and also telephoned her boyfriend at 8:00 p.m. that night. Drexel is described as 5 foot, weighing approximately 103 pounds.

Reports out of that area earlier this week said the teen had been spotted on a transit bus, but police have tracked down the young lady and it turns out it was someone else.

Dawn Drexel said the focus of the search will be around the night clubs and areas where Brittanee was partying. We’ve also learned police have surveillance photos of Brittanee as she was leaving the hotel where she stayed.

Family and friends will continue to raise funds until Brittanee comes home. They plan to be back out at the Gates Wal-Mart from 5:30 to dark Thursday night and the same time next week Monday through Thursday.

Wednesday night they raised $1,303.97. All that money was wired to Myrtle Beach on Thursday to help out with expenses the family is experiencing.

Peter Broswick has been named by police as a person of interest in the case.
