I love LYDIA

This is a my collection of book covers, albums, film & band posters and flyer’s of Lydia Lunch’s youth. She was born in 1959 with the last name Koch. She was renamed Lunch by regularly stealing lunches for her at the time starving artist friends living in a large communal household of artists in NYC at the age of 16. She is one of the most influential performers, she has been dubbed the Roseanne of Punk Rock and a precursor to Courtney Love.

Christopher Ciccone and his Book

So this is it. The book we have all been dieing to see is here and the cover SUCKS! the first print run is 350,000 copies and is an imprint of Simon & Schuster. Chris Ciccone has worked with his older sister on designing and directing her “Girlie Show” tour in 1993. He acted as artistic director of her 1991 documentary, “Truth or Dare.”  Madonna’s spokeswoman, Liz Rosenberg says that the two are no longer close which leads me to believe this is the reason the book came to be. She went on to say Madonna has not cooperated with any of the biography about herself.

 

Amy at Rock in Rio

All the things I would sell to have been at this concert in Spain! Amy sipped red wine, did not stay for an encore and was whisked away by helicopter.

Jamiroquai followed Amy on stage then Shakira.

The Police, Bob Dylan, Lenny Kravitz, Alejandro Sanz and Franz Ferdinand are also scheduled to perform over the weekend.

 350,000 people were expected to have been at the newly inaugurated concert site by the close of the festival.
