If you can’t make it to London to Knotting Hill to see Pete Doherty’s Art Show check out his blood works here. This show has been so pre judged and and shit on because of Pete’s other favorite past time. I love his work and be assured HE IS NOT THE FIRST PERSON TO DRAW AND PAINT IN BLOOD. My guess is Pete did this to add shock value to his work. It makes it rather controversial. So get over it. Pete is high, drooling and laughing at your disgust. Enjoy the Art!

Pete Doherty’s London Gallery show is one event I regret having to miss. Despite the out of control judgment raving of every mouth I really find pleasure in his bloody drawings. They are blunt, raw & simple. These pieces I find very calming like Velvet Underground’s Heroin. Daring and Expressive yet I would only consider touching the unframed work with latex gloves. Pete is as he is. He should be applauded for this body of work.
